ROCK ISLAND VISITOR CENTER at Gerald, MO
Our goal is to welcome visitors traveling cross country on US Highway 50, provide information about our Gerald community, and encourage using local businesses.
We are located at mile marker 1130 (starting at Ocean City MD and ending in Sacramento, CA)
The Rock Island Visitor Center also hosts the Rock Island Train Museum with interactive exhibits and hands on activities. View the Rock Island model trains move throughout the museum.
The Gerald Community Center is also housed at the Rock Island Visitor Center.
Currently the Rock Island Visitor Center Annex is located at 360 S. Main Street in Gerald- until the building is completed on US Hwy 50 and Main Street, at the Rock Island Trailhead.
